I have a Bosch 1611 without the EVS option. I have used it only as a
hand-held unit. It is an extremely smooth operating unit. The switch
built into the handle is really nice and the spring operated self-locking
plunge lever is nice too. Don't forget to order the 1/4" collet as an acc.
since it doesn't come with the unit. I made a fence for the unit fron
two rods and a piece of maple that works better than any fence from the
manufacturer. Just wish I had the EVS option though. Highly recommended
unit if you want a comfortable router to use.
