reducing the jerking motion of the unit caused by inertia at start-up.
In a unit of this size, this
is a very useful feature to reduce the stress on the operator. I don't recall
if the Freud has it, but I don't believe it does.
Hoave you considered the Elu 3338 or the Bosch 1167. Both
of these are variable speed, which gives some more flexibility, but thay are
considerably more expensive. The single speed models are cheaper and may
suit your needs.
