160 The new INGENIOUS Ryobi table saw. Verdict, please.

Well, I just got back from a nearby Home Depot where they
had the new "ingenious" Ryobi 3000 table saw on display.

I played around with it and it has some nice things but
other things bothered me about it.

Nice things include:

built-in sliding table, all crosscuts must be done
using the sliding table - this IS ingenious
2 HP motor, appears to be direct drive
mitre gauge rotates about an enlarged scale
extended mitre available ( looks about 48" or more)
slots and holes in movable extension for router/jig saw
dust bag! available as an option
fence operates on both sides of blade with up to
30" on the right and 31" on the left

Bothersome items:

everything is cast or extruded aluminum - (maybe I'm paranoid)
the sliding table does not move in a t-slot thereby
preventing any third-party mitre upgrades
no separate control for blade angle adjustment -
you switch from height to angle by flipping
a lever behind the bell crank. the angle
adjustment was very stiff and the gear ratio
was very coarse - fine adjustment might be a problem?

If anyone out there has bought one, I'd like to hear your
evaluation. All opinions are welcome. I'll summarize if
there's enough interest. Please e-mail unless you get bounced.
Thanks.
