I've had my Ryobi for a couple of months now, and I'm happy with it. I
got a good deal by purchasing the demo unit when the Sunnyvale, CA Home
Depot moved to a new location. The cut is very clean, I'm happy with
the precision (though I've never used a really top-end saw to compare
against,) and it's light enough to move around easily on the accessory
wheels. I particularly like being able to set the tables and fence up
to fit differing needs. (Left or right of the blade, etc.)
Another plus is that Ryobi has been very helpful. (As a demonstrator
the saw was short several pieces. The ones with part numbers have been
very reasonably priced, and some parts from the accessory kits that
_don't_ have part numbers were sent to me for the cost of shipping -
with Ryobi's full knowledge of the saw's questionable heritage.
My only complaint to date is that a couple of small parts are too flimsy
- in particular the clips to hold the fence and miter gauge when not in
use (already mentioned by another poster) and the wrenches supplied for
blade removal - pure garbage.
