A couple of words of advice to those of you who are thinking of
getting a radial arm saw. First if you get one, I would strongly
suggest geting Jon Eakes book called "Fine Tuning Your Radial Arm Saw".
Its whole purpose is to describe how to set up any of the major
brand radial arm saws such that they cut accurately.
Second, if your thinking of buying a radial arm saw just for cross-
cutting and allready have a good table saw, consider either buying
or building a good sliding table for your table saw. You'll be able
to crosscut wider pieces with that than with a standard radial which
is limited to about 15" of width.
