I'm in the market for a new router and a GOOD set of cutters
for making raised panel doors. I have been told that the way to go
is a 3Hp Makita Plunge router. Could someone(everyone) give me your
opinion on what type of router you find works best for you and why.
Also I want to buy a high quality set of cutters for stiles/rails and
raised panels. Some I have seen only yield about a 3/4" wide cut.
I think that I want something wider than that. If someone has
another way to cut raised panels (other than a $2000 shaper) please
pass it along.
P.S. PLEASE don't recommend any routers from SEARS!!!!!!!
