I recently bought a Ryobi, and although I've only used it on one
project, it seems to do the job well. It's comfortable to hold,
doesn't vibrate your arms off, and the dust collector actually does
collect dust (not all, but the major portion). I also like the
hook-and-loop sandpaper, which makes for very fast changing. The
price was pretty reasonable too (about $77 mail order).

The only problem I had was scratching the wood when first lowering the
spinning sander onto a workpiece. The scratches were easily sanded
out, but a bit disturbing. I'm sure this is my own inexperience, not
a problem with the sander.
