A couple of folks have offered well-taken opinions against this, but
always citing CLOSED conditions. I might be mistaken, but I thought
that the Grain elevator problem was related to a lack of ventilation.
Since I'll be working in a barn, I'll be well ventilated (which is
why I'll need heat !-) Come to think of it, aren't there enough
sparks generated by power tools and the like to trigger such
explosions if conditions favor them? I'm really curious, and could
probably look it up, but what REALLY causes the elevator-type dust
explosions? Anybody remember enough chemistry to remind us again?
