76 Porter Cable sander on NYW

Recently on the NYW, Norm has been using a Porter Cable sander which
looks like a disc sander, but oscillates? as it spins, so that it
doesn't leave conventional disc sander marks.
Does anyone have experience using this on hardwood? It would appear
this would be ideal to use after belt sanding, and follow up with a
1/4 sheet pad sander.
