Appalachian Swing - The Kentucky Colonels (Rounder SS31, 1993) Jerry Garcia
wrote the liner notes for this re-released album, which was originally
released in 1964 on World Pacific 1821.
Acoustic Disc - 100% Handmade Music - var. (Acoustic Disc ACD-08) Jerry
Garcia plays on this compilation album of Acoustic Disc artists. The version
of "Louis Collins" that appears on here is an alternate take from the "The
Pizza Tapes" album, and is performed by Garcia, Grisman, and Rice.
Not For Kids Only - David Grisman and Jerry Garcia (Acoustic Disc ACD-09) A
collection of "children's" songs. Released in August, 1993.
- Zero ( ) A live album recorded at the Great American Music Hall in late
1992 or early 1993. It includes several tunes by Robert Hunter. Produced
by Dan Healy with Bob Bralove and Harry Popick. To be released.
Chance In A Million - Zero (Whirled 1960) Released in 1994. Vince Welnick
plays on this album. Several of Robert Hunter's songs are performed: "Chance
In A Million" (6:41), "Horses" (6:51), "Catalina" (7:47), "End Of The World
Blues" (7:47), and "Home On The Range" (9:30).
Relix Sampler #4 - var. (Relix RRCD 2049) Includes "Haight Street Slither",
"That There Old West", "Cold Rain and Snow", and "And We Bid You Goodnight",
performed by Tom Constanten. This CD, with the "Wheel Of Fortune" television
program cover, was released in 1992.
Gray Folded - John Oswald (Swell/Artifact SW/ART 1969-94) John Oswald applies
Plunderphonics to the Grateful Dead's "Dark Star". This two CD album was
originally released with just the first CD ("Transitive Axis"), with an order
form enclosed for the second CD ("Mirror Ashes"). The second CD was shipped
once the second CD was available. At that time, when the second CD was
available, the album was made available in the stores with both CDs. This is
"Dark Star", not as the Grateful Dead played it, but as you wish they would

Gray Folded Radio Edits - John Oswald (Swell/Artifact S/A 1969R) John Oswald
applies Plunderphonics to the Grateful Dead's "Dark Star". This CD contains
two tracks: "Transitive Axis" (5:22) and "La Estrella Oscura" (3.44).
Gray Folded - John Oswald (Snapper Music/Recall SMDCD 215 or SNP 14215) The
2 CD set released in October, 1999 in the UK on the Snapper Music's "Recall"
label.
Valley Style - Ka'au Crater Boys (Roy Sakuma Productions RS 4000) This 1993
release by Troy Fernandez and Ernie Cruz Jr. includes "Friend Of The Devil".

Just Another Band From East L.A. - Los Lobos (Slash/Warner Bros. 9 45367-2)
This boxed set, released August 31, 1993, includes a live version of "Bertha",
recorded live at a Los Lobos concert on November 6, 1992.
Solar Circus: A Historical Retrospective - Solar Circus (Relix RRCD 2064)
This 1993 release includes "Dark Star > The Other One > El Paso > The Other
One > Dark Star" (10:23), which also appears on "Dead Delites Volume 3".
The Infinite Summer Of Love - var. (Taxim Records TX 2016,
http://www.taxim.com) This CD tribute album to 1967 psychedelia music
includes The Beast covering "The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion)" (3:13).
Wasted Tasters 1971-75 - NRPS ( ) This Australian release includes Hunter's
"Kick In The Head".
Endangered Music Project (Library of Congress) Mickey Hart worked on many of
the releases in this series, including "Music For The Gods", and album of
gamelan music recorded in the 1930's.
Kerosene Hat - Cracker (Virgin 39012) This 1993 album includes "Loser" (6:06).
Hang Out Your Poetry - Ceremony (Geffen DGCD 24523) Released in 1993, this
group included Chastity Bono. Jerry Garcia plays guitar on the album.
The Bobs Cover The Songs Of... - The Bobs (Rounder 9049,

Jerry Garcia wrote some of the liner notes for this four CD boxed set that was
released in 1994, in which he speaks of his desire to be a "Blue Grass Boy".
Encore Live (All The Cats Join In Volume Two) - The Buck Clayton Legacy (Nagel
Hayer Records, Nagel-Heyer 18, November 15, 1994) Bob Weir wrote the liner
notes for this live recording of a tribute to Buck Clayton's trumpet work
with the Count Basie Orchestra.
