2.11.12 Election of National Athletes' Representative

2.11.12 Election of National Athletes' Representative

2.11.12.1The National Athletes' Representative must be at least 18
years old and will be elected by and from among those players who have
represented the USATT in the Olympic or Pan American Games or the
World Championships within the previous ten years. All players who
have represented the USATT in the Olympic or Pan American Games or the
World Championships within the previous ten years, regardless of age,
will be eligible to vote for this position.

2.11.12.2Candidates for National Athletes' Representative will be
nominated by those eligible to vote for this office per
By-Law2.11.12.1.

2.11.12.3The USATT Olympic Committee will send nomination forms to the
eligible voters by June15.

2.11.12.4Each voter may nominate up to three candidates. The top
three who are willing to serve will be placed on the ballot for a
general election by the voters of By-Law2.11.12.1. All nominations
must be received before July 30.

2.11.12.5The USATT Olympic Committee will arrange secret voting and
will mail ballots containing the names of all candidates and a space
for a write- in vote to all eligible voters by September15.

2.11.12.6The ballots will be returned by mail to the Chairman of the
USATT Olympic Committee by November1.

2.11.12.7These ballots will be counted by the USATT Olympic Committee
by November5.

2.11.12.8Then person who receives the largest plurality vote will
become the National Athletes' Representative for the next two years as
of January1 of the odd year.

2.11.12.9In the event of a tie vote, the E.C. will determine the
winner by majority vote.

2.12.1 There will be standing and special (ad hoc) committees.

2.12.2 Committee Chairman Eligibility

To be a committee chairman, a member will:

2.12.2.1Be a USATT member in good standing.

2.12.2.2Sign a statement to uphold the USATT Constitution and By-Laws
and answer correspondence promptly.

2.12.2.3Be at least 18 years old.
