I bought a 1 1/4 hp Hitachi plunge router at christmas time and have been
very pleased with it (except that it came with a 5/8 template guide and
all my door templates are for 1/2 :-(). It is comfortable to use, switch
placement seems fine and there is good visability around the bit.
I have seen pictures of the Ryobi 1 1/4 and it looks identicle in every
detail (except the color, blue vs. green), who knows?
